As a lover of history and art, she often returned from the United Kingdom with very unusual pieces for her home from many of the more famous art shops of Great Britain. With each trip she returned with something more unique and treasured to share with her friends. After several trips abroad, she was encouraged by many to begin her own Import company in the United States. Her thrust was to introduce unique and useful items for the home, gift, and kitchen art buyers. This was the beginning of the hugely successful Lovi Creek Traders Importing and Distribution Company.

In the late 2000, after the death of her beloved husband, she made the decision to sell her business and retire.

Lovi Creek Traders was purchased by Elizabeth and Kenneth McKinney in 2001 . Over the years they have added several new business partners from the United Kingdom and Europe as they expand and develop Lovi Creek as a premier Importing business both in the United States and Canada. In the last seven years the business has enjoyed continued growth with retail partners across the United States and Canada. Lovi Creek is well respected as a provider of unique products and outstanding customer service.
